The final Bearcat Coaches Show of 2019 featured the men's and women's basketball teams, and Northwest assistant athletic director for communications Colin McDonough.
The basketball teams each started the MIAA slate 1-1 with a pair of tough road conference matchups last week. They're off this week for finals to wrap up the fall semester, but are back on the court next week. Head men's basketball coach Ben McCollum came on the show to discuss his team's record-setting win streak. Head women's basketball coach Austin Meyer, along with players Kendey Eaton, Erika Schlosser, Jaelyn Haggard and Jayna Green joined the program to discuss the improvements around Bearcat basketball and the upcoming road trip to Hawaii.
McDonough is a Northwest Missouri State University alum that returned to Maryville last year as an athletic administrator. He discussed the surging athletic department, and his role at Northwest.
